I seem to have caught the flu or somesuch lately, and don't feel like trawling the web for cool bloggables; as such, today's Null Device may be a bit quiet...

In Britain, apparently the Protocol Office (or whatever branch of the byzantine bureaucracy handles these things) has ruled that the young Prince William may not have any contact with silicone pop Lolita Britney Spears (who allegedly has designs on the Crown). Maybe if the British get sick of paying for the monarchy out of their taxes and sell it to a Los Angeles-based media entertainment company, Queen Britney will get to take the throne of a new, more mediagenic monarchy.
